Famous TV - సామాజిక సేవ / తిరుపతి : The Station Consultative Committee has decided to take necessary steps to transform Tirupati Railway Station into a garbage-free station. This decision was taken during the committee meeting held on Thursday under the chairmanship of Station Manager K.Chinnappa Reddy. The committee resolved to initiate cleanliness drives in association with voluntary organizations to maintain hygiene in and around the station premises. Installation of clear direction boards from the railway station to major city locations was also recommended to facilitate smooth movement for passengers. To prevent harassment of passengers by private travel agents, the committee suggested appropriate action against such practices. Members also stressed on the need to expand rail connectivity to more stations from Tirupati, thereby improving travel convenience for passengers. Further steps to enhance passenger amenities and services were discussed during the meeting. The meeting was attended by Chief Health Inspector Murali Krishna, Divisional Railway Committee Member Sakam Krishnamurthy, and station consultative committee members Dr. N.B. Harshavardhan Reddy, Y.S. Babu, S. Mubarak Basha, B. Sapthagiri Raju, N. Yuvarajulu Naidu, Sakam Jayaprasad, K. Girija, and S. Nomu Shankar.
