Yandamuri motivates students at Kautilya

Famous TV - విద్య ఉద్యోగాలు / తిరుపతి : ‘Kautilya Institution’ has conducted a free personality development workshop on ‘Steps for success’ on Aug 8 on its campus located at M.R.Palli by Sri Yandamuri Veerendranath (Y.V), a noted novelist who received the state Sahitya Academy award from the President of India and Nandi awards. Nearly 200 students of engineering and degree background and this event. Sridhar, director, Kautilya, Tirupati also spoke on ‘Career awareness’ for the students. As part of this workshop, Mr.YV covered several aspects of the personality development like ‘leadership, stress management, positive attitude, logical thinking, concentration, goal setting, etc’. He presented a gold medal and certificates to the winners of the quizzes conducted by him in the workshop. Speech of Mr.YV : Never do your work (education or job ) with frustration. The companies won’t offer salaries based on your qualifications but they will give you based on your significant contribution only. So Increase your value addition. Don’t be discouraged for not finding water while digging in a desert. Keep excavating for few more feet. You may get petrol and become a multimillionaire overnight. Even if you do not get petrol, you will get the experience of digging deserts. Above that, you will get a lesson not to dig deserts for water. Logical thinking is a must for every student to excel in career. ‘Success’ means attainment of ‘Health, fame, wealth, love and enthusiasm’. If you want to be mentally healthy, you must avoid three diseases- fear, worry and anger. If you keep them at bay, you will get infinite power. And know the difference between a human being and an animal. Animals can’t dream and we only can dream. So dream of your successful life and achieve that with the above qualities in your personality. Students should develop mainly five important qualities – Common sense, communication, intelligence, empathy and leadership. Key to success lies on ‘concentration’ which can be attained by the students by avoiding social media- Facebook, WhatsApp, etc’ nowadays. Imagine the taste of success beforehand. For example, if a man takes a month for ascending and descending the Mount Everest and he/she will take only five seconds to fix the flag over there. A pessimist feels ‘why should one strive for five second success?’ but an optimist feels ‘I am going to fix my country’s flag in a few days while climbing. Finally, know the real meaning of ‘wealth’- if you stop working today itself, can you live your further life with the same luxuries and happiness till the end of your life? if so, you are really wealthy. So aim for real wealth in near future by practicing the above qualities.

Sridhar’s speech: Every student has an innate ability which must be regularly sharpened. Know your core competency and capitalize on it. Allay all your misconceptions about success in tough competitive exams like CAT, Civils, etc. Those who are cracking these exams are mostly ordinary students only these days. So if you are determined about your dream goal, nothing will daunt you. At our Kautilya, we have seen umpteen examples of ‘achieving the success in the toughest exams by average students only’. So it is their grit and determination which drove them to the success ultimately. Target your dream career with positive attitude and distance yourself from pessimists.
